short + slouchy.

This year, I’m determined to dress like it’s autumn, even though the season only lasts about two weeks in Arizona.  So when I found this lightweight, oversized sweater at H&M, I knew I had to have it.

You would think that a tiny person in huge clothes would look ridic.  Well, you’re partially right.

Although the top pretty much consumes me, I threw in a few tricks to make sure I wasn’t swallowed whole.  I tucked in a corner of the sweater so I didn’t look like I was walking around pantless (pretty key, unless your name is Gaga).  It’s easy for the shorts to disappear behind all that fabric, but I prefer the bagginess to be balanced with something short and crisp.  The statement necklace breaks up the sea of blue and the wedges give me some much needed height.  The end result: comfy and chic combined.

  1. You are SO adorable. As a petite girl I love finding other girls similar to my size as inspiration for what might look good on me. I love this outfit. Those shoes are killer and nice tips on how to wear an oversized sweater.
